4 years ago God placed it on my heart to open the doors of WhiskATX, to take a chance, and a huge leap of faith. I did my part and He certainly did His. It has been such a beautiful journey; I have meet hundreds of amazing macaron enthusiasts from around the world, baked thousands of macarons, hosted many events and workshops, sold bake along kits, appeared on the News, shed many tears full of both joy and exhaustion,
spilled way too many bags of sugar and could probably separate egg whites in my sleep. Its been quite a ride.
Never did I imagine that I would have been called to the baker life and that I would have experience the things I have. I also never imagined that after 4 beautiful years it would be time to close the doors.
As hard as this decision is, to let go of my thriving business, to say "no" to the custom orders and opportunities, it IS the right choice for my family it will allow for more "yeses" to other things to come. With that said, we are no longer taking any orders, hosting events, or teaching any courses. Please enjoy the sweet memories on our Instagram page as we will keep that active and occasionally post updates on.
I KNOW the Lord called me to Whisk ATX, so I cannot wait to see what He has for me next, lets not call this the end but more like
