St. Patricks Day
It just happened!
In the Spring of 2015, my husband and I took our first stab at macarons; the desire to bake them came out of pure curiosity to see if I could make the cute yet daunting treat from my Colorado townhome. Lets just say I've come a long way from that first batch :). Fast forward three years to the date (my birthday) and I am re-inspired to get the perfect macaron! I just so happen to have all the ingredients on hand (thanks to my husband) and I begin baking batch after batch until I capture the perfect feet, smooth crisp shell, chewy inside, and tasty fillings.
Over the next 2 months, I begin to perfect my recipe; studying the science, learning my oven, trying different methods, experimenting with ingredients, learning my oven some more, networking with macaron peeps, all while thinking...what if? After falling in love with this intricate little treat and prayerfully considering a new venture, my husband and I decide on a name and logo, open an Instagram and begin to introduce the ATX to Whisk Macarons! The rest is history and is getting added to it daily. Thanks for being a part of our story!
